Everything happens for a reason..
Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?
When you are in trouble or when you are in fear of losing something dearest to you or when someone hurts you ,your heart needs a constant reassurance and support to believe that nothing would go wrong..Then you rely on the inputs from your spouse,friends and family.You want them to analyze the things and tell you "everything will be alright".How the people around you can say that? Its because they believe that "everything happens for a reason".They have this insight which tells them that you are gonna get out of trouble.Because the ones dearer to you trust you ,love you .
Their good will act like a shield around you and fight against the negative theories which constantly flash in front of you " Why the hell did this happen to me,why did this happen only to me".Things pile up one by one creating a huge mess in your mind.Your subconscious mind then tells you "talk to your dearest ones".Then you remember that you are not alone in the world.You have people with you who can help fight these obstacles in life, most of which don't happen with your involvement. You have to remember at all times that You are not the master of the world.You cannot rule the world. People around us are different.They don't think about us.Only friends care for us.So you cannot expect everyone around you to like you,understand you,care for you, to follow the rules.
Finish your job.Don't expect anything in return. This may sound philosophical but if you hate someone or have a feeling of disgust for anyone that eventually hurts you not them.Forgive them Think "To err is human".Deviate yourself from these negative feelings because end of the day you don't want to hate anyone,curse anyone because what you do is what you are supposed to do and you are perfect in doing your job.Why do you want to take all this crap and pollute your mind.Release all the hatred and negative feelings.Have a pleasant mind where you think about only the people you love.To take revenge you need not do anything ,hurting people is very easy and that is what most ignorant and adamant people do all the times.Leave the act of punishment to the Omnipotent. To forgive is difficult.Pray God should give them a good heart and mind and to ease yourself of the rage say " EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON ". Because it helps you discover a new you.

Friends Forever
Back in college I used to have lots n lots of friends..We all had a great time.We used to fight,gossip,comment , above all share our feelings and support eachother. There was a day when I thought what happens as we move on with our lives into different fields of work to different places? But deep down inside something keeps on telling me that nothing makes us apart.We used to exchange cards n gifts writing a note 'Friends forever'..Is this true? Are they with me now?
Nope..Many of them I even don't know where they are.some of them got busy with their lives working n learning..Now I am left with a very few friends with whom I can really look forward to share all my happiness n sorrows.Now I actually understand the meaning of "treasuring your friendship".
You never know what happens with your life. People learn a lot of things as they move on the ladder of life. They meet people everywhere.Few may find better friends, few may think there is nothing much to do with friends. Some of them may carry the past memories where they got hurt and so doesn't think much about having friends.
When I sit back and think about my college days ..I laugh at myself about all the mischief we used to make. Esp my hostel life.As u know " Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus",
people from venus have this tendency to share everything with the ones around.They have the most generous heart.They have all the time in the world to listen to co-venutians, sort out their problems and if that is not possible atleast give them few suggestions to make things better.They will recheck on the issue,discuss with others even if it was told as a secret and constant updates and a list of dos and don'ts will be posted.So there used to be never ending non-stop chatting about our small world that was our college. From the time we actually left for college to the time we returned back each and every minute detail was exchanged and if there were any funny incidents people enacted it.And above all shopping with the gang ,going around on our two wheelers.wow that may not be the best to do in college time but yet drawing simple pleasures out of a normal life. I wish there is a rewind button in life as well.
Though we may not be in touch and know eachothers whereabouts..these memories are like a great treasure to me.

cage-free bird
When I saw this at a grocery store saying "eggs laid by cage-free birds"..I just remembered something about my childhood...
All my schooldays I used to have a strict schedule of classes and tuitions not much free time ..the only vacation is summer . I used to spend most of my summer holidays at my grandma's place which is like a heaven to me.Whenever my mama used to come over to my place to pick me up I was like a bird out of cage..no books ,no tuitions ..just masti .My mama and grandma used to look at me just like the way they pity a caged bird .They are like my angels from heaven :D.Mama is like very punctual and used to come on time.I used to pack all my things the day before my last exam itself.After coming out of my house i never used to look behind even to wave to my family members ..and ask mama " inka enta sepu ikkada ..vellipodam malli nanna lopaliki rammantaru books teeskelladaniki..nuvu kuda venakki tirigi chudaku ..2 days lo teeskocheyamani cheptaru" and mama is also like lets get out of here and watch a movie :)

Being the youngest in the family...
Being the youngest in the family ..believe me it comes with lot of responsibilities..
I know how hard it is! I am the youngest of five children to my parents and its always fun to be with a big wonderful family.
Here is a handy list of the things I enjoyed being the last child
1. Parents support you no matter what saying "don't make her cry.Give whatever toy she wants .she will learn when she grows up"
2.No need to share anything with your sisters and brothers because they generously give you a portion of whatever they have whether it might be a chocolate or a crayons set.
3.whenever Mommy and Daddy scolds you ( rarely happens) they will become a shield and protect you covering all your silly mistakes.
4.They will do half of your homework and you get to eat all the yummy dishes they try after getting a recipe from aunt or some book.
5.You can bunk your school whenever they come home from hostel saying "i missed u pyari( usually i call my sisters like that) all this week".
6.You get good gifts (whatever is on the wishlist.com) for your birthdays.
7.You can watch movies on TV with them instead of some Bala Vihar or Teleschool (these were the progrms on TV for children in my childhood)
8.You can hangout with their friends.
9.You can have all their make up stuff..you will be like a cynosure( my 2nd sister used to plait my hair and try all kinds of new hair styles on me and my friends used to stare at me when I get a new pair of hair bands.My younger sister used to study her B.Tech in BITS and she used to get me all the dresses with mirror work and colorful bandini scarfs ..aaah loved them.)
10.They will ask you all those IQ questions and tricky puzzles ,when you don't answer them they explain them and you can go back to school sit in between your friends and ask the same questions and pose infront of them saying "It is very easy man..just use your brain" as if you answered it for the first time..ehhhhhh.
Now comes the difficult side of childhood.
1.You should meet all their expectations this includes the school teachers also (who refer you as X's sister and obviously it proves that X is highly active and intelligent because teachers often remmeber the bright students of the class)..yaaaaa
2.you should show better performance than your younger sister or brother ..(My pop used to say that the graph of our individual achievements should always be going high).
3.you get to read all the second hand school books ( used by the one above you).
4.You will be like a puppet..
a one good example..after people go to bed and they forgot to turn off the light .they just say "choti switch off the light" ..
just get me a glass of water..
5.when some thing breaks or misplaced you will be the first suspect ..lots of questioning and hell lot of explanation( this is how you will improve your reasoning skills).
6.You should read even in your summer break because they usually come home after exams and don't have much to do and general attention is diverted towards you and then starts struggle..you should answer your final exams question paper once again and they will correct all the mistakes and they give a feedback of the year's performance to the High Commands( mom and pop).
7.You should go and get them any small things like some kesar for vermicelli from the bazar on your bicycle which they usually forget while they were shopping the before day.
8.You cannot invite your friends to come over to your house because if they come they will also have to answer the exam question papers and thereafter you should talk to the only one who scores a higher grade.
9.They will just keep telling you not to waste time, concentrate on your studies and at times teach you how to memorize things and few tips for fast reading which you have to listen from each one of them at different times of the day :)

coffee
I know it has caffeine and its not at all good to have coffee ..but why don't people just ignore it and offer me a cup of coffee instead of saying that if you drink coffee which has caffeine it increases your heart risk..blah blah blah..Few things in life give us immense pleasure and for me one among them is coffee.Just an 8oz coffee..
Even the thought of running out of coffee powder or milk is unbearable and my day becomes gloomy if i don't have a cup of coffee in the morning...If people say it is addiction ,no worries I am not giving it a thought because COFFEE makes my day bright and sunny in this gloomy seattle where there are dark black evil clouds 24/7 anxiously waiting to attack and destroy the beautiful sunny days. I was just dreaming to get far far away from this evil monstors and enjoy my cup of coffee sitting in my patio looking at the most beautiful SUN dressed up in silky flowing golden gown ..aaaaaaah! hope that day will come very soon into my life.
Common weather in SEATTLE..cloudy with drizzles,rainy.. I am totally fed up with this weather report..Waiting for summer with bated breath.
So what I wanted to say is " please please lemme enjoy my cup of coffee..whatever caffiene does to me I will handle it..thanks for being my well wisher.."

It is a child not a choice
The other day when I was on my way to have a nice cup of coffee in the chilled evening i came across people holding some posters saying ..
It is a child not a choice.
Abortion...is a sin..
God bless the mother and her unborn child.
I wondered why these people are standing there for hours together in the cold climate and just thought for myself ....."who gives it a thought even if they stand there for 24/7".
After coming home I just couldn't avoid thinking about it...Then I thought volunteering is effective.yes its a sin to kill a child before he sees this world..coz its just equivalent to murder an innocent human being..just taking a pill is easy but giving birth to a child, good nourishment and good life is difficult..
There are many people who are depressed and in need of a child for them.There are couples who cannot have a baby , women who dream to become a Mom .There are people who lost their child due to numerous countless reasons...We do not realize the value of things which we possess ..only when it is just out of our hands ,we realize but by that time everything is over...
Instead of taking a pill or going for abortion try to think for yourself and be cautious ..make up your mind ..take a decision and try to accept the most valuable and precious thing that comes into our life coz IT IS A CHILD NOT A CHOICE. If you feel that you cannot raise a child by yourself please atleast give a thought about an option called ADOPTION. A child is a blessing to parents.Do not just kill it before it takes its form.

Desperate Housewives
I just wondered all these days why they named it Desperate Housewives and one day decided to watch it just to know whether the title is apt and you don't believe me the next day i was so desperate to watch all the three seasons and ordered them on my netflix.I used to wait for my dvd to be shipped and used to watch immidiately after i bring back the mail. I don't know why i liked it so much but one thing i can say for sure is...there are certain tings in the world which we cannot change. At times a person cannot judge himself and feels so desperate to do certain things, to know some secrets, to just follow his heart paying no attention to the society around him coz it gives total satisfaction and the best reason to live.....
"Follow Your Instincts..." and after the moment you do it , trust me you feel like you are the king of the world.You will start to love people more than yourself.

Love your life
What are the things that just force a person ( esp children) to decide against life and give up a valuable life?
Why don't they just understand that they are a part of a family where everyone loves them and that they are in such a wonderful place where people around them are full of love and affection.Why don't they just consider it for a moment ..
Why will they just take a decision and say that they just want to end up their life and do it?Are they not enough matured ?Whats going on with todays education system ...Does it provide any strength to fight against these psychological imbalances?
Parents give children whatever they can and they take utmost care of them ..They just give up all the pleasures in life and sacrifice evreything for the upbringing of their children.They just hope that thier child should be a good human being with moral values..They provide good education to learn things, be cultured and civilized...what should children learn?
Apart from education children should learn to be strong even in the adverse situations..whatever the reasons might be they have no right to end their life..If there is something stressful in their life, they should express it to their parents or friends...An open and friendly chat regarding any kind of issue helps in solving it easily.
At the same time parents should not force a grownup child to do anything against his/her wish..they should give that space to the child and should ensure him /her that they are with them at all times..A parent should try to know whats going on in their child's life.If there is a problem with the child do not just comment on it..sarcacism never helps.More over it hurts much..the child takes it as an abuse and it widens the gap between the parent and child..Do not compare with others .Focus on the child's area of expertise.Give him courage and inspiration to do things.The child can be a better individual if they do so.
Parents should understand there is a great diversity of mental abilities in children.One child may be active and can grasp things easily while the other may be sober but really good at logically solving the problems ..One cannot judge a child by giving a common example because every child's performance is different..
We all know its complicated for a child to understand and take life seriously at that age..but we can avoid major psychological issues of children by just giving them more love and support.
The stress that a child has due to rising compettition is a major cause for these emotional imbalance.Just keeping away all these reasons, lets do our best in giving a relaxed and joyful life to our children .
